SPOTTED REDSHANK
Although the Spotted Redshank is the pans' regular visitor, it is not as numerous as the Redshank.
Most often it stops here during spring migration, when it is seen in the company of Redshanks, Greenshanks, Marsh Sandpipers, Black-winged Stilts and representatives of the genus Charadrius. When not in display plumage, it can easily be confused with the Redshank.
