Apodemus sylvaticus
Mise are the largest and highly changeable group of rodents.
The mice of the genus Apodemus, to which the Woodmouse belongs as well, are medium-sized with brown backs. In our country, the Woodmouse is widely distributed from the coast to ca. 1000 m a.s.l. In the Sečovlje salt-pans, it is generally distributed, living on the pans' levees.
