DIMORPHOPTERUS
Dimorphopterus blissoides
This bug species, which is otherwise distributed in the eastern Mediterranean, can be in our country observed only at Sečovlje salt-pans.
They can be found on reeds which are their nutritive plants. Quite often they can be seen in groups together with the very similar Ischnodemus quadratus species. The representatives of both species are mostly short-winged and unable to fly, although some long-winged specimens can also be found among them.
