10th SALTERS FEAST

The past weekend was very busy in Salina . In the frame of 10th Salters feats Saturday morning children's workshops were organised in the afternoon our colleague Iztok Škornik presented his new book entitled Ecological and faunistic review of birds in Secovlje Salina. In the evening we gathered at the opening of the exhibition of paintings and poetry prepared by Ubald Trnkoczy and Vinko Moderndofer.

On Sunday, the ‘salters family’ arrived to Salina. The events were enriched by Šavrini musicians, folk group Val Piran, TD Taperin and many others. Rich collection of historical materials on Sečovlje and surroundings was exhibited by Damir Gregoric.

Both days over 30 stalls were set with a rich offer of products from Slovenia, Austria, Italy. We also received the first visit from our business partners from Taivan.

We would like to inform you that on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, renovation works will begin on the deteriorated access path in the Lera area of the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park. During the works, entry will not be possible for individual visitors.
