Common Cranes regularly occur in Slovenia during spring and autumn migration.
In the Sečovlje Salt Pans, it occurs regularly on both flights. Larger groups of cranes can be observed especially in November, December and the second half of March. In the last decade, there have also been a few January records of the species.
*Sečovlje Salt Marshes is considered a qualifying species in favourable conservation status.
