Mediterranean Killifish
Cyprinodon fasciatus 
This up to 5 cm long and transversally striped fish can be found in salt basins, coastal ditches and river mouths.
As it inhabits such extreme water environments, it is not an
endangered species. It feeds also on mosquito larvae. Males and females are
distinguished by their different colours
