SEA BLITE
Suaeda maritima 
This plant is a relatively common halophyte of the inundated as well as dry ground.
Although found in in almost all types of stands, its cover value in various associations is fairly small. It is common at the foot of larger and smaller levees and along channels. With its colours it renders the Sečovlje salt-pans, in October, a precious reddish tinge.
