OPPOSITE LEAVED SALTWORT
Salsola soda 
This is the inhabitant of silty ground.
Along our coast, it is a relatively rare species, found partiucularly at the Sečovlje salt-pans where, however, it never covers larger areas. It thrives along the edges of larger levees, often in the company of Sea Blite.
