Such visits are intended for the visitors who wish, apart from taking a walk, to get to know as much as possible about Sečovlje Salina Nature Park and the tradition of salt-making practiced within it.
Before entering the ParkGuided visit of the Park along the so-called Salt-pan Path at Lera lasts for about an hour and a half. This circular trail, which leads the groups of visitors between several salt-fields, is not demanding, although suitable footwear is necessary, particularly at the time when the terrain is wet as a result of heavy precipitation. Each group should not number more than 50 visitors.

A group that wishes to hire a guide pays an additional sum of € 30.
The assembly point, where guide will wait for the group, is at Seča (drive past Lucija, turn right on top of the rise at Seča and follow the paved road straight to the gate at the Park's entrance; the group's vehicle is to be left in the parking place in front of the entrance to the Park).
