PROJECT LIFE MANSALT - Man and Nature in Sečovlje pans

In Sečovlje Salina Nature Park since October 2010 we performed MANSALT LIFE - Man and Nature in Sečovlje pans. The main objective of the project is to preserve biodiversity in the Salina.

10th SALTERS FEAST

The past weekend was very busy in Salina . In the frame of 10th Salters feats Saturday morning children's workshops were organised in the afternoon our colleague Iztok Škornik presented his new book entitled Ecological and faunistic review of birds in Secovlje Salina. In the evening we gathered at the opening of the exhibition of paintings and poetry prepared by Ubald Trnkoczy and Vinko Moderndofer.

ART CONTEST - Awards and honors

In April, we sent an invitation to participate in the art contest to all coastal maternity schools and elementary schools. The themes of the contest were two: the first was related to the salt, the other to LIFE project and nature.

LIFE workshops at 10th Salters feast

Saturday 21.4. and Sunday 22.4. we organised LIFE workshops for children in the frame of 10th Salters feast . Children were very creative and they made their own birds, they painted on textile and decorated salt bags with motifs from park's nature and salt making.

Monday, 26th March we attended a conference 'Opportunities of Environment and Climate'' - establishment of a Programme for the Environment and Climate Action (LIFE), organized by the MEP Dr. Romana Jordan in Ljubljana.
