PROJECT LIFE MANSALT - Man and Nature in Sečovlje pans

In Sečovlje Salina Nature Park since October 2010 we performed MANSALT LIFE - Man and Nature in Sečovlje pans. The main objective of the project is to preserve biodiversity in the Salina.

Visit at the PENEDA - GERES National Park

Within the Climparks project the partners had the opportunity to participate to the second study trip provided by the project. The selected destination, after the Lake District National Park last year, was Portugal and more specifically the National Park of Peneda-Gerês, the first and only National Park in Portugal.

SOLNI CVET – new issue of the newsletter

New issue of the Newsletter Solni cvet is available. 8.000 copies were delivered to the households of the municipality of Piran.

Monitoring visit of the LIFE MANSALT project area

On Tuesday, 19.09.2012, the representative of the LIFE External monitoring team visited the project area. The beneficiary presented the progress of the project actions to the monitor and demonstrated the ongoing field activities.

Children from Lucija Elementary school Lucia on LIFE workshop

On Tuesday, 11.09.2012 children from Lucija Elementary school participated at the LIFE workshop. Through the activity of 'building a wall' and producing nesting islets and controlling water inflow they have learned how important is the water regime to ensure that plant and animal species can survive and reproduce.

Professor. Dr. Stjepko Golubič visited the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park

On Friday, 13 July 2012, the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park visited world-renowned expert Professor. Dr. Stjepko Golubic of Boston University in the USA.

Ramsar 40th anniversary celebrations
